A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to an exemption from numbering for certain vessels
propelled by trolling motors.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Section 31.022(c), Parks and Wildlife Code, is
amended to read as follows:
(c) All canoes, kayaks, punts, rowboats, rubber rafts, or
other vessels under 14 feet in length when paddled, poled, oared,
[or] windblown, or propelled by an affixed electric trolling motor
are exempt from the numbering provisions of this chapter.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017.
