| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 1059.052, Special District Local Laws | ||
| Code, is amended to read as follows: | ||
| Sec. 1059.052. NOTICE OF ELECTION. Notice [ |

| newspaper with general circulation in the district. | ||
| SECTION 2. Section 1059.107, Special District Local Laws | ||
| Code, is amended by adding Subsection (f) to read as follows: | ||
| (f) The board by resolution may order the lease of a | ||
| hospital or other facility owned by the district to any person. The | ||
| resolution must include a finding by the board that the lease of the | ||
| hospital or facility is in the best interest of the residents of the | ||
| district. | ||
| SECTION 3. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives | ||
| a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as | ||
| provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this | ||
| Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this | ||
| Act takes effect September 1, 2013. | ||
