| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 86.006, Election Code, is amended by | ||
| amending Subsection (a-1) and adding Subsection (a-2) to read as | ||
| follows: | ||
| (a-1) The voter may deliver a marked ballot in person to the | ||
| early voting clerk's office or to another designated location | ||

| voting period. A voter who delivers a marked ballot in person must | ||
| present an acceptable form of identification described by Section | ||
| 63.0101. | ||
| (a-2) The early voting clerk may designate any number of | ||
| suitable locations for in-person delivery of ballots. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect on the 91st day after the | ||
| last day of the legislative session. | ||
