A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
relating to the repeal of the authorization for a governing body to
conduct economic development negotiations in a closed meeting under
the open meetings law.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Section 551.087, Government Code, is repealed.
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2017.
