| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 437.302, Government Code, is amended by | ||
| adding Subsection (b-1) to read as follows: | ||
| (b-1) The adjutant general shall provide reasonable | ||
| accommodations to allow a person with a disability who otherwise | ||
| meets the requirements under Subsection (b) to serve in the Texas | ||
| State Guard. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2023. | ||
