| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 24.640, Government Code, is amended to | ||
| read as follows: | ||
| Sec. 24.640. 444TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT (CAMERON AND WILLACY | ||
| COUNTIES [ |
||
| of Cameron and Willacy Counties [ |
||
| (b) Section 24.601(b) does not apply to the 444th Judicial | ||
| District when the court is sitting in Willacy County. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2011. | ||
