| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | ||
| SECTION 1. Section 4, Article 18.21, Code of Criminal | ||
| Procedure, is amended by adding Subsection (g) to read as follows: | ||
| (g) For purposes of this section, a warrant properly issued | ||
| in another state is given full faith and credit in this state, and a | ||
| service provider in this state that is required under the warrant to | ||
| disclose the contents of a communication must comply with the | ||
| warrant in accordance with the provisions of this section as if the | ||
| warrant had been issued by a district court in this state. | ||
| SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2013. | ||
