R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Mary Ann Saenz was presented with a Proud You're a
  Picker Award by the Robstown Independent School District in
  February 2017; and
         WHEREAS, This accolade is given to district employees who
  have gone above and beyond their usual responsibilities in order to
  help a student, parent, volunteer, community member, or colleague;
  and
         WHEREAS, A teacher at Robstown High School, Mary Ann Saenz
  has distinguished herself as an outstanding guide and resource for
  students with college aspirations; noted for her warm and friendly
  attitude, this caring woman regularly devotes her own personal time
  to answering students' questions and helping them apply for
  scholarships, and she has also been known to bring in jackets and
  other necessities for students in need; and
         WHEREAS, Those individuals who give generously of their time
  and talents strengthen the organizations in which they work, and it
  is a pleasure to recognize this dedicated professional for her
  contributions to Robstown ISD; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Mary Ann Saenz on her receipt of a
  Proud You're a Picker Award from the Robstown Independent School
  District and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued
  success; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Saenz as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
