R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Hailey Pruitt has been honored with a 2024
Outstanding Service Award from the MICHELIN Guide; and
WHEREAS, Presented in conjunction with the guide's ratings
for restaurants and hotels, the Outstanding Service Awards are
among a select number of MICHELIN honors that recognize hospitality
staff members for their exceptional work; and
WHEREAS, Hailey Pruitt is the sommelier at acclaimed San
Antonio restaurant Mixtli, which received a coveted MICHELIN star
in the 2024 ratings; in curating a diverse wine program, she
oversees a cellar that holds more than 1,200 wines from around the
world and places a special focus on Mexican wines and local
distribution wineries; she is renowned for skillfully guiding
guests in their choices while sharing her knowledge of all aspects
of wine production; and
WHEREAS, With her recognition by the MICHELIN Guide, Hailey
Pruitt has furthered the stature of the San Antonio restaurant
scene, and she may take justifiable pride in this impressive
achievement; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Hailey Pruitt on her receipt of a
2024 Outstanding Service Award from the MICHELIN Guide and that she
be extended sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it
further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Pruitt as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
