| WHEREAS, Sharing a deep bond of love that has spanned six and | ||
| a half decades, Ernest and Lillian Winkler of Temple celebrated | ||
| their 65th wedding anniversary on February 24, 2011; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Winkler exchanged the vows of matrimony | ||
| at the Grove in Temple on that memorable day in 1946, and over the | ||
| course of their marriage, they have found in each other a devoted | ||
| life partner; and | ||
| WHEREAS, The couple count among their blessings a fine family | ||
| that includes three children, Larry Winkler, Dennis Winkler, and | ||
| Kathy Wright, and three grandchildren, with whom they treasure | ||
| sharing the many special occasions of life; and | ||
| WHEREAS, The 65 years of marriage that Mr. and Mrs. Winkler | ||
| have shared is eloquent affirmation of the meaning of love and | ||
| commitment, and their enduring union is an inspiration to all who | ||
| know them; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Ernest and Lillian Winkler on their | ||
| 65th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for | ||
| continued happiness; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Winkler as an expression of high regard by | ||
| the Texas House of Representatives. | ||
