| WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced | ||
| by a great and enduring love, Wesley and Donna Teague of Lamesa | ||
| celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on December 22, 2010; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Wesley Teague and the former Donna Johnson were | ||
| united in matrimony at Bryan Street Baptist Church in Lamesa in | ||
| 1960; through the years, they have been blessed with a treasured | ||
| family that includes their son, Greg Teague, and his wife, | ||
| Priscilla, their daughter, Krenna Thetford, and her husband, Cary, | ||
| and their six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Mr. Teague works for Holladay Farms, and Mrs. Teague | ||
| is a homemaker; the couple attend the Second Baptist Church; and | ||
| WHEREAS, While much has changed in the world over the past | ||
| half-century, this devoted husband and wife have remained constant | ||
| in their commitment to one another, and the strength of their love | ||
| has enabled them to meet life's challenges and opportunities with | ||
| grace and optimism; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Wesley and Donna Teague on their | ||
| golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes | ||
| for continued happiness; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Teague as an expression of high regard by | ||
| the Texas House of Representatives. | ||
