R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Sabra Sauer is retiring from St. Joseph High School
  in Victoria in 2025, drawing to a close an outstanding career in
  education that has spanned 38 years; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Sauer began teaching in 1987 at Bloomington High
  School; she joined the faculty at St. Joseph High School in 1996,
  and over the course of her tenure, she has taught a range of
  subjects, including physics, chemistry, biology, advanced biology,
  geology, anatomy and physiology, life science, and forensic
  science; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Sauer graduated from Texas A&M University with a
  bachelor's degree in microbiology; in addition, she received an
  associate's degree from Victoria College and a joint teaching
  certification from the University of Houston-Victoria and Texas
  A&M; and
         WHEREAS, Through her dedication, professionalism, and
  commitment to excellence, Sabra Sauer has helped foster a
  supportive and challenging educational environment for countless
  young Texans, and she may indeed reflect with pride on her many
  achievements as she embarks on the next exciting chapter of her
  life; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Sabra Sauer on her retirement from
  St. Joseph High School in Victoria and extend to her sincere best
  wishes for the future; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Sauer as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
