	H.R. No. 930



	R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Dr. Michelle Maresh-Fuehrer was one of eight Texas
	A&M University-Corpus Christi employees who were named 2014 40
	Under 40 honorees by Corpus Christi Under 40 (CCU40); and
	WHEREAS, Each year, CCU40 honors 40 men and women under the
	age of 40 who have worked to make a positive difference in the
	Corpus Christi area through both their professional and community
	endeavors; and
	WHEREAS, Dr. Maresh-Fuehrer is an assistant professor of
	communication at A&M-Corpus Christi, where she has taught graduate
	and undergraduate classes in crisis communication, public
	relations, research methods, and instructional communication; a
	respected authority on public safety and crisis prevention issues,
	she recently completed work on her book Creating Organizational
	Crisis Plans, and she often holds consulting sessions with local
	businesses to discuss crisis communication strategies and
	solutions; and
	WHEREAS, Dr. Maresh-Fuehrer has set an outstanding example
	of professional achievement and civic engagement, and she may take
	justifiable pride in her contributions to the Coastal Bend
	community; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
	Legislature hereby congratulate Dr. Michelle Maresh-Fuehrer on her
	selection as a Corpus Christi 40 Under 40 honoree and extend to her
	sincere best wishes for continued success in her important work;
	and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
	prepared for Dr. Maresh-Fuehrer as an expression of high regard by
	the Texas House of Representatives.
