R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Michael Rodriguez of Senator Carlos F. Truan Junior
High School has been named the 2014-2015 Campus Teacher of the Year;
and
WHEREAS, A solid education provides young Texans with the
tools they need to become successful and productive adults, and
those men and women who dedicate their careers to teaching are
helping to ensure that the future of the Lone Star State rests in
capable hands; and
WHEREAS, Serving as role models, motivators, listeners, and
mentors, the best teachers bring to the classroom creativity,
energy, and resourcefulness, inspiring in their students a love of
learning that will serve them well throughout their lives; and
WHEREAS, Michael Rodriguez exemplifies the qualities that
are the hallmarks of a great teacher, and in so doing, he has earned
the respect and admiration of his colleagues and students alike;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Michael Rodriguez of Senator
Carlos F. Truan Junior High School on his selection as the
2014-2015 Campus Teacher of the Year and extend to him sincere best
wishes for continued success with his important work; and, be it
further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Rodriguez as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
