	R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of
	mutual devotion and shared experiences, and Boots and Dorothy Baker
	of Lorena celebrated this joyous milestone in their marriage on
	February 11, 2011; and
	WHEREAS, Boots Baker and the former Dorothy Harris were
	joined in matrimony in 1961 at a ceremony held in Fort Worth;
	through the years, they have been blessed with a treasured family
	that includes their children, Clint Baker and Christy Kolacek and
	her husband, Jimbo, as well as four grandchildren, Kristyn and
	Karson Kolacek and Haley and Chris Baker; and
	WHEREAS, An alumnus of Granbury High School, Mr. Baker is
	retired from a notable career with Brazos Electric Power
	Cooperative; Mrs. Baker graduated from Pottsville High School and
	was employed by Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 15 years in
	Fort Worth, Temple, and Waco; they are valued members of Lorena
	First Baptist Church; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Baker have enjoyed five decades of
	abiding love and affection for one another, and they are among an
	exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting
	commitment; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
	Legislature hereby congratulate Boots and Dorothy Baker on their
	50th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
	continued happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
	prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Baker as an expression of high regard by
	the Texas House of Representatives.
