	H.R. No. 896



	R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, March 2, 2011, marked the 60th wedding anniversary
	of Carrol and Blanch Ward of McGregor, providing a fitting
	opportunity to reflect on their memorable journey together as
	husband and wife; and
	WHEREAS, Carrol Ward and the former Blanch Hill were joined
	in matrimony in 1951; through the years, they have been blessed with
	a treasured family that includes two children and their spouses,
	Don and Billie Ward and Pamela and David DeBorde, as well as two
	grandsons, Joshua Ward and his wife, Maureen, and Brad DeBorde and
	his wife, Katie; and
	WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, Mr. Ward is
	retired from TXU Energy and Mrs. Ward is retired from Smead
	Manufacturing; and
	WHEREAS, The 60 years of marriage that this devoted couple
	have shared is eloquent affirmation of the meaning of love and
	commitment, and their enduring union is an inspiration to all who
	know them; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
	Legislature hereby congratulate Carrol and Blanch Ward on their
	60th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
	continued happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
	prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Ward as an expression of high regard by
	the Texas House of Representatives.
