| WHEREAS, Members of the Tyler County Country Church in | ||
| Woodville celebrated the grand opening of the church's new building | ||
| at a banquet on March 10, 2017; and | ||
| WHEREAS, This notable house of worship was originally | ||
| established as the Tyler County Cowboy Church in October 2013, | ||
| under the leadership of pastor Jordan Wilson; since that time, the | ||
| congregation has grown significantly and now consists of some 275 | ||
| members; and | ||
| WHEREAS, The new 16,000-square-foot structure is the latest | ||
| addition to the church's property, which features multiple | ||
| buildings situated on 28 acres of land; the construction of the | ||
| facility was made possible not only by the generosity of the | ||
| church's congregants but also by contributions made from numerous | ||
| area churches; the sanctuary hosted its inaugural service on March | ||
| 12; and | ||
| WHEREAS, The Tyler County Country Church has served as a | ||
| source of inspiration and guidance to many Woodville residents who | ||
| seek a full and meaningful spiritual life, and it is a privilege to | ||
| recognize the continuing commitment of this congregation to its | ||
| faith and to the wider community; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby commemorate the grand opening of the new Tyler | ||
| County Country Church building and extend to all those associated | ||
| with the church sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it | ||
| further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for the church as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
