| WHEREAS, Allison Ainsworth has ably served her fellow Texans | ||
| as an intern in the office of State Representative Scott Sanford | ||
| during the 84th Legislative Session; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Ainsworth has | ||
| contributed to the workings of state government firsthand; in | ||
| addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public | ||
| service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the | ||
| issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and | ||
| WHEREAS, A graduate of McKinney High School, Ms. Ainsworth | ||
| currently attends The University of Texas at Austin, where she is | ||
| pursuing a bachelor's degree in political communications; she has | ||
| received scholarships from the McKinney Education Foundation and | ||
| the Torchmark Corporation, and she serves as a representative for | ||
| the UT Student Government Assembly and as a member of the external | ||
| affairs committee; and | ||
| WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her | ||
| duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is | ||
| indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, | ||
| therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby commend Allison Ainsworth for her service as a | ||
| legislative intern in the office of State Representative Scott | ||
| Sanford and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success | ||
| in all her endeavors; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Ms. Ainsworth as an expression of high regard by the | ||
| Texas House of Representatives. | ||
