WHEREAS, Members of the Collin County Young Republicans have | ||
demonstrated an outstanding commitment to political engagement in | ||
their community; and | ||
WHEREAS, With a membership that ranges in age from 18 to 40, | ||
the Collin County Young Republicans is a volunteer service | ||
organization for young conservative professionals dedicated to | ||
advancing the principles of the Republican Party; and | ||
WHEREAS, These motivated men and women have worked tirelessly | ||
in behalf of candidates for local, state, and national office, and | ||
they have helped to promote political awareness and involvement in | ||
Collin County by persuading residents that their participation in | ||
public affairs is vital; and | ||
WHEREAS, The members of the Collin County Young Republicans | ||
have set an admirable example of civic engagement, and they may | ||
reflect with great pride on their many worthwhile contributions; | ||
now, therefore, be it | ||
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas | ||
Legislature hereby honor members of the Collin County Young | ||
Republicans for their exceptional efforts in the civic realm and | ||
extend to them sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it | ||
further | ||
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
prepared for the group as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
House of Representatives. | ||
