	H.R. No. 83



	R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Bernice Carrell celebrated her 30th anniversary as
	manager and CEO of MOPAC Employees Federal Credit Union on
	January 18, 2023; and
	WHEREAS, Ms. Carrell first joined MEFCU in 1993 and became
	manager and CEO after relocating to the Groesbeck area from
	Houston; she brought to her new position nine years of experience as
	president and CEO of Big Three State Credit Union and more than a
	decade of experience as CEO of Hycel Employees FCU; and
	WHEREAS, Throughout her 30-year tenure at MEFCU, Ms. Carrell
	has endeavored to lead the credit union into the 21st century, and
	she has successfully implemented numerous changes, such as updating
	the organization's services to offer debit cards, ATM, virtual, and
	mobile banking, and various types of lending; in addition, she has
	overseen upgrades to the credit union's facilities; and
	WHEREAS, Through her vision, leadership, and commitment to
	excellence, Bernice Carrell has greatly benefited MEFCU and the
	customers it serves, and she may indeed reflect with pride on all
	that she has accomplished; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
	Legislature hereby congratulate Bernice Carrell on her 30th
	anniversary as the manager and CEO of MOPAC Employees Federal
	Credit Union and extend to her sincere best wishes for the future;
	and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
	prepared for Ms. Carrell as an expression of high regard by the
	Texas House of Representatives.
