R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Sharing a deep bond of love that has spanned five
  decades, Arturo and Graciela Borrego of El Paso celebrated their
  50th wedding anniversary on January 28, 2011; and
         WHEREAS, Arturo Borrego and the former Graciela Martinet
  exchanged the vows of matrimony at Immaculate Conception Church in
  Douglas, Arizona, on that memorable day in 1961, and over the course
  of their marriage, they have found in each other a devoted life
  partner; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Borrego count among their blessings a
  fine family that includes their sons, David, Andy, and J. C., their
  daughters-in-law, Lori and Jennifer, and their grandchildren,
  Adrianna, Martin, Arianna, and Daniel, with whom they treasure
  sharing the many special occasions of life; and
         WHEREAS, Looking back over the past half-century, Arturo and
  Graciela Borrego can savor a wealth of cherished family memories
  and know that the strength of their love and commitment ensures that
  many more joyful times await them; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Arturo and Graciela Borrego on
  their golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best
  wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Borrego as an expression of high regard by
  the Texas House of Representatives.
