| WHEREAS, Sharing a deep bond of love that has spanned five | ||
| decades, Arturo and Graciela Borrego of El Paso celebrated their | ||
| 50th wedding anniversary on January 28, 2011; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Arturo Borrego and the former Graciela Martinet | ||
| exchanged the vows of matrimony at Immaculate Conception Church in | ||
| Douglas, Arizona, on that memorable day in 1961, and over the course | ||
| of their marriage, they have found in each other a devoted life | ||
| partner; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Borrego count among their blessings a | ||
| fine family that includes their sons, David, Andy, and J. C., their | ||
| daughters-in-law, Lori and Jennifer, and their grandchildren, | ||
| Adrianna, Martin, Arianna, and Daniel, with whom they treasure | ||
| sharing the many special occasions of life; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Looking back over the past half-century, Arturo and | ||
| Graciela Borrego can savor a wealth of cherished family memories | ||
| and know that the strength of their love and commitment ensures that | ||
| many more joyful times await them; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Arturo and Graciela Borrego on | ||
| their golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best | ||
| wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Borrego as an expression of high regard by | ||
| the Texas House of Representatives. | ||
