| WHEREAS, Laura Zimmerman was presented with a Proud You're a | ||
| Picker Award by the Robstown Independent School District in January | ||
| 2017; and | ||
| WHEREAS, This accolade is given to district employees who | ||
| have gone above and beyond their usual responsibilities in order to | ||
| help a student, parent, volunteer, community member, or colleague; | ||
| and | ||
| WHEREAS, Laura Zimmerman is a speech-language pathologist in | ||
| the district's special education department, and she has been part | ||
| of the Robstown ISD staff for the past two years; dedicated to | ||
| ensuring the success of each and every student, she has gained | ||
| renown from districts across the state for her exemplary | ||
| speech-therapy techniques; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Those individuals who give generously of their time | ||
| and talents strengthen the organizations in which they work, and it | ||
| is a pleasure to recognize this dedicated professional for her | ||
| contributions to Robstown ISD; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Laura Zimmerman on her receipt of a | ||
| Proud You're a Picker Award from the Robstown Independent School | ||
| District and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued | ||
| success; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Ms. Zimmerman as an expression of high regard by the | ||
| Texas House of Representatives. | ||
