| WHEREAS, Jesse Balderas was honored as the Firefighter of the | ||
| Year of Granite Shoals Fire Rescue at the Hill Country 100 Club | ||
| Membership/Awards Banquet on January 15, 2015; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Founded in 2002, the Hill Country 100 Club provides | ||
| valuable support to first responders in Central Texas; each year, | ||
| the organization's awards banquet honors outstanding peace | ||
| officers, firefighters, emergency medical personnel, and support | ||
| staff in Burnet, Llano, Blanco, and Lampasas Counties; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Mr. Balderas became a resident of Granite Shoals in | ||
| 1996, and he has been a valued member of Granite Shoals Fire Rescue | ||
| for nearly two decades; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Through his skill and dedication to duty, Jesse | ||
| Balderas has contributed immeasurably to the safety and well-being | ||
| of his fellow citizens, and he may indeed reflect with pride on his | ||
| exceptional service; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Jesse Balderas on his selection as | ||
| the Hill Country 100 Club Firefighter of the Year of Granite Shoals | ||
| Fire Rescue and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued | ||
| success with his important work; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Mr. Balderas as an expression of high regard by the | ||
| Texas House of Representatives. | ||
