	H.R. No. 669



	R E S O L U T I O N

	WHEREAS, Bobby Amick was honored as the Volunteer Firefighter
	of the Year of the Cottonwood Shores Volunteer Fire Department at
	the Hill Country 100 Club Membership/Awards Banquet on January 15,
	2015; and
	WHEREAS, Founded in 2002, the Hill Country 100 Club provides
	valuable support to first responders in Central Texas; each year,
	the organization's awards banquet honors outstanding peace
	officers, firefighters, emergency medical personnel, and support
	staff in Burnet, Llano, Blanco, and Lampasas Counties; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Amick has served with Cottonwood Shores VFD for
	a year and a half, and he is currently working at H-E-B while
	attending EMT school; in all his endeavors, he enjoys the love and
	support of his wife, Lauren, and daughter, Hannah; and
	WHEREAS, Through his skill and dedication to duty, Bobby
	Amick has contributed immeasurably to the safety and well-being of
	his fellow citizens, and he may indeed reflect with pride on his
	exceptional service; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
	Legislature hereby congratulate Bobby Amick on his selection as the
	Hill Country 100 Club Volunteer Firefighter of the Year of the
	Cottonwood Shores Volunteer Fire Department and extend to him
	sincere best wishes for continued success with his important work;
	and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
	prepared for Mr. Amick as an expression of high regard by the Texas
	House of Representatives.
