| WHEREAS, Jason Hardison was honored as the Firefighter of the | ||
| Year of Burnet Fire and EMS at the Hill Country 100 Club | ||
| Membership/Awards Banquet on January 15, 2015; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Founded in 2002, the Hill Country 100 Club provides | ||
| valuable support to first responders in Central Texas; each year, | ||
| the organization's awards banquet honors outstanding peace | ||
| officers, firefighters, emergency medical personnel, and support | ||
| staff in Burnet, Llano, Blanco, and Lampasas Counties; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Mr. Hardison has volunteered with Burnet Fire and | ||
| EMS for two years; a self-employed mechanic, he serves as the | ||
| department's maintenance officer, and he is also currently enrolled | ||
| in an EMT course; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Through his skill and dedication to duty, Jason | ||
| Hardison has contributed immeasurably to the safety and well-being | ||
| of his fellow citizens, and he may indeed reflect with pride on his | ||
| exceptional service; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Jason Hardison on his selection as | ||
| the Hill Country 100 Club Firefighter of the Year of Burnet Fire and | ||
| EMS and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success with | ||
| his important work; and, be it further | ||

| prepared for Mr. Hardison as an expression of high regard by the | ||
