| WHEREAS, Brown Graham & Company has deservedly been named | ||
| Large Business of the Year by the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce, | ||
| and this achievement indeed merits special recognition; and | ||
| WHEREAS, An accounting firm that has served the Georgetown | ||
| area for a quarter-century, Brown Graham & Company is a fitting | ||
| recipient of this notable honor; led by managing shareholder Carrie | ||
| Bradshaw, the company has benefited local residents through its | ||
| work with the chamber, as well as with such worthwhile | ||
| organizations as the Ride On Center for Kids, Partners in | ||
| Education, Court Appointed Special Advocates, the Boys & Girls Club | ||
| of Georgetown, and Habitat for Humanity, among others; and | ||
| WHEREAS, In addition to providing jobs and valuable services, | ||
| Brown Graham & Company has helped to strengthen the Georgetown | ||
| community, and it is a pleasure to recognize the business for its | ||
| contributions to the greater good; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Brown Graham & Company on its | ||
| selection as Large Business of the Year by the Georgetown Chamber of | ||
| Commerce and extend to Carrie Bradshaw and her staff sincere best | ||
| wishes for the future; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for the company as an expression of high regard by the | ||
| Texas House of Representatives. | ||
