R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, NuStar Energy has earned The Spirit of Caring Award
from United Way Galveston County Mainland; and
WHEREAS, The highest honor bestowed by United Way Galveston
County Mainland, The Spirit of Caring Award recognizes dedicated
volunteers, donors, and corporations whose efforts have benefited
the organization and its many vital programs; and
WHEREAS, The employees of NuStar Energy have generously
shared their time, energy, and resources in support of United Way
initiatives; 100 percent of the staff actively give back to their
fellow residents, with per capita donations reaching nearly $1,900
and total fund-raising efforts breaking $2 million; and
WHEREAS, The men and women of NuStar Energy have demonstrated
a commitment to building a stronger, healthier community, and in
doing so they have earned the deep respect and appreciation of many;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate NuStar Energy on earning The Spirit
of Caring Award from United Way Galveston County Mainland and
commend its management and staff for continued success with their
important work; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for the company as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
