R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced
  by a great and enduring love, Bob and Bernice Priddy of Troy
  celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on February 3, 2011; and
         WHEREAS, Bobby E. Priddy and the former Bernice Brown were
  united in matrimony in Lancaster in 1951; through the years, they
  have nurtured a fulfilling marriage that has been made even richer
  with the addition of two children, Bobby Priddy, Jr., and his wife,
  Judy, and Connie Priddy, as well as two grandchildren; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Priddy both worked at the Western Auto
  Distribution Center in Temple until their retirement; since 1975,
  they have lived near Troy, where they are members of the First
  Baptist Church; and
         WHEREAS, While much has changed in the world over the past six
  decades, this devoted husband and wife have remained constant in
  their commitment to one another, and the strength of their love has
  enabled them to meet life's challenges and opportunities with grace
  and optimism; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Bob and Bernice Priddy on their
  60th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
  continued happiness; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Priddy as an expression of high regard by
  the Texas House of Representatives.
