R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Family and friends will forever treasure their
  memories of retired Texas game warden John N. Bonham Jr. of
  Floresville, who passed away on January 18, 2020, at the age of 72;
  and
         WHEREAS, Born in San Antonio on February 24, 1947, to John and
  Sarah Bonham, John Bonham grew up with the companionship of nine
  siblings, Laverne, Harvest, Donald, Ronald, Yvonne, Wayne, Nancy,
  Robert, and Denise; he graduated from South San Antonio High School
  and trained at the Game Warden Academy, before joining the Texas
  Parks and Wildlife Department; he retired as a game warden in 2008
  and later also retired from his career as a Wilson County deputy;
  and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Bonham was blessed to share his life with his
  wife of more than 30 years, Teresa, and he took great pride in his
  children, Lori, Lynda, Ricky, Troy, and Sarah; with the passing
  years, he had the pleasure of seeing his family grow to include
  eight grandchildren, Bolton, Alton, Aaden, R. J., Scarlett, Landon,
  Alex, and Brayden; and
         WHEREAS, John Bonham contributed greatly to his community
  through his public service, and he leaves behind a legacy that will
  long be cherished by his loved ones; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of John N. Bonham Jr. and
  extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his wife,
  Teresa Bonham; to his children, Lori Farris, Lynda Bonham, Ricky
  Menard, Troy Menard, and Sarah Freeman; to his grandchildren,
  Bolton Russell and his wife, Maycee, Alton, Aaden, and R.J. Menard,
  Scarlett Menard, Landon Machost, and Alex and Brayden Freeman; to
  his siblings, Laverne Bongiovi, Harvest Bonham, Donald Bonham,
  Ronald Bonham, Yvonne Vance, and Wayne Bonham; and to his other
  relatives and friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of John N.
  Bonham Jr.
