R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Employees of the Behavioral Health Center of Nueces
  County are being recognized by the center's board of trustees for
  their years of service; and
         WHEREAS, Established in 1969, the Behavioral Health Center
  provides services to area residents who struggle with mental
  illness and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities; each
  year, the center helps more than 10,000 people in a variety of ways,
  including medication counseling, benefits support, and job search
  assistance; and
         WHEREAS, In times of need, citizens of Nueces County have a
  trusted place to which they can turn, thanks to the commitment to
  excellence demonstrated by the center's staff and team of medical
  professionals; that dedication has been key to the center's receipt
  of several significant awards, including repeated selection as Best
  of the Best by the Corpus Christi Caller Times Reader's Poll; and
         WHEREAS, Those employees who have completed two years of
  service with BHCNC are Laura Becka, Cheryl Bost, Katie Fry, Tiffany
  Fuhrken, Martha Garcia, Rebecca Garza-Buenrostro, Delma Gonzalez,
  Maria Gonzalez, Nephaterria Harris, Monica Hernandez, Taiwo A.
  Ikuomenison, Nora Joslin, Crystal Kitchen, Susan Marks, Jordan
  McDonald, Adriana Meza, Antal Moravcsek, Iris Navarro, Skarlet
  Pelehberg, Nicole Perez, Laura Robbins, Cleofas Rodriguez,
  Priscilla Rodriguez, Burt Santos, Evelyn Suarez, Baylea Wagner, and
  Rickey Williams; employees who have completed five years of service
  are Martin Avelar, Sondra Botello, Delia Castillo, Robelin Garza,
  Mark Hendrix, Rebecca Martinez, Buadelia Padilla, Mary E. Slusher,
  and Cenaida Soliz; and
         WHEREAS, Those who have been with the center for 10 years are
  Victoria Rodriguez, Maria Elena Sandoval, Robert Venture, and
  Sylvia S. Villarreal, while those who have devoted 15 years to the
  center are Lori Fredrickson, Victor Gustafson, Alicia Serrano,
  Ignacio Trevino, and Margaret Urtado; and
         WHEREAS, Employees Shirley Brown, Baldomero Duran, and
  Esmeralda Lopez have each achieved 20 years of service with BHCNC;
  Sheila Simmons has attained the 35-year mark with the center, and
  Virginia Garza has now worked with the center for four decades; and
         WHEREAS, An invaluable community resource, the Behavioral
  Health Center benefits immeasurably from the efforts of these loyal
  employees, and it is a privilege to join in honoring them at this
  time; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby recognize employees of the Behavioral Health
  Center of Nueces County for their years of service and extend to
  them sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the center as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
