	H.R. No. 554



	R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Matt Sapp of the Frisco Fire Department has been
	named the 2022 Frisco Firefighter of the Year; and
	WHEREAS, The members of the Frisco Fire Department annually
	vote to honor one of their colleagues with the Firefighter of the
	Year award; Mr. Sapp is especially admired by his peers for his
	leadership, integrity, and reliability; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. Sapp joined the Frisco Fire Department in June
	2016, and he currently serves on the Special Operations Team, which
	responds to situations requiring heavy rescue, high angle rescue,
	confined space rescue, hazmat, or paramedic services; he is also a
	member of Texas A&M Task Force 1, and he has further distinguished
	himself as president of the Frisco Firefighters Association; and
	WHEREAS, Through his hard work and dedication to duty, Matt
	Sapp has exemplified the highest ideals of his profession, and he
	may indeed reflect with pride on this well-deserved recognition;
	now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
	Legislature hereby congratulate Matt Sapp on his receipt of the
	2022 Frisco Firefighter of the Year award and extend to him sincere
	best wishes for continued success with his important work; and, be
	it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
	prepared for Mr. Sapp as an expression of high regard by the Texas
	House of Representatives.
