| WHEREAS, Members of the Golden Corridor Republican Women work | ||
| to promote the principles of the Republican Party; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Founded in 1990, the Golden Corridor Republican | ||
| Women is composed of individuals from Collin, Dallas, and Denton | ||
| Counties, and its members have significantly impacted local, state, | ||
| and national politics by advancing their strong conservative | ||
| convictions and helping Republicans win elected office; the group | ||
| strives to educate voters about key issues and legislation and to | ||
| encourage greater participation in the political process; and | ||
| WHEREAS, The vitality of a community depends in large measure | ||
| on an involved citizenry, and members of the Golden Corridor | ||
| Republican Women are making a lasting difference through their | ||
| commitment to political activism; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby recognize the Golden Corridor Republican Women | ||
| and commend its members for their civic engagement; and, be it | ||
| further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for the club as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
