| WHEREAS, An inspiring couple whose lives have been enhanced | ||
| by a great and enduring love, Delbert and Pearl Fahrner of Hewitt | ||
| celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on February 4, 2013; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Delbert Fahrner and the former Pearl Eloise Preston | ||
| met at their job in Ashland, Virginia, and they were joined in | ||
| matrimony in 1963; through the years, they have nurtured a | ||
| fulfilling marriage that has been made even richer with the | ||
| addition of three children, Patricia and her husband, Nicholas, | ||
| Delbert and his sweetheart, Cindy, and Randy and his wife, Rachel, | ||
| as well as nine grandchildren, D. J., Sherianne, Nicholas, Haleigh, | ||
| Ireland, Joshua, Clayton, Madison, and Zaylie; and | ||
| WHEREAS, While much has changed in the world over the past | ||
| half-century, this devoted husband and wife have remained constant | ||
| in their commitment to each other, and the strength of their love | ||
| has enabled them to meet life's challenges and opportunities with | ||
| grace and optimism; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Rep | ||
| resentatives of the 83rd Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Delbert and Pearl Fahrner on their | ||
| golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes | ||
| for continued happiness; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Fahrner as an expression of high regard by | ||
| the Texas House of Representatives. | ||
