	H.R. No. 53



	R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Sharing a deep bond of love that has spanned four
	and a half decades, Lester and Carole Headrick of Midland
	celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on December 26, 2010; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Headrick exchanged the vows of
	matrimony at Central Methodist Church in Brownwood on that special
	day in 1965, and over the course of their marriage, they have found
	in each other a devoted life partner; and
	WHEREAS, A U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Headrick's career with
	Furr's Supermarkets took the couple to Lubbock and Amarillo as well
	as to Midland and locales in New Mexico and Arizona; he retired as
	division manager and vice president and is currently employed by
	Lowe's Marketplace and Pay-N-Save in Littlefield as director of
	produce; Mrs. Headrick graduated from Texas Woman's University and
	taught elementary school in Midland and Roswell, New Mexico; they
	are congregants of First Baptist Church; and
	WHEREAS, Looking back over the past four and a half decades,
	Mr. and Mrs. Headrick can savor a wealth of cherished memories and
	know that the strength of their love and commitment ensures that
	many more joyful times await them; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
	Legislature hereby congratulate Lester and Carole Headrick on
	their 45th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best
	wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
	prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Headrick as an expression of high regard
	by the Texas House of Representatives.
