| WHEREAS, Wendy Cash has been named the 2012 Volunteer of the | ||
| Year by the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce; and | ||
| WHEREAS, A truly deserving recipient, Ms. Cash has greatly | ||
| contributed to the mission of the chamber; she is a member of the | ||
| board of directors, has co-chaired the Leadership Georgetown | ||
| program and the Silver Screen Seminars series, and has supported | ||
| the Bar-Bid-Cue Auction Committee; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Ms. Cash also has served as an ambassador at Berry | ||
| Creek, and she further shares her time with the Exceptional | ||
| Georgetown Alliance; the mother of three children, she is a real | ||
| estate agent in business with her husband, Cris; and | ||
| WHEREAS, The vitality of a community depends in large measure | ||
| on the dedication and leadership of its citizens, and Wendy Cash | ||
| sets an example of civic engagement to which others may aspire; now, | ||
| therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Wendy Cash on being named the 2012 | ||
| Volunteer of the Year by the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and | ||
| extend to her sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Ms. Cash as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
