| WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of | ||
| mutual devotion and shared experiences, and Skip and Paulette | ||
| Hunter of Waco celebrated this joyous milestone in their marriage | ||
| on January 3, 2017; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Hunter were joined in matrimony on that | ||
| memorable day in 1967; over the years, they have been blessed with a | ||
| treasured family that includes their two sons, Lance and Allen and | ||
| his wife, Jerri, as well as their grandchildren, Robin, Rachel, | ||
| Jonathan, Aaron, and Austin, and great-granddaughter, Emery; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, Mrs. Hunter is | ||
| retired from the Waco Center for Youth and Mr. Hunter worked for the | ||
| MKT/Union Pacific Railroad for 41 years; the couple count | ||
| traveling, antiquing, and spending time with family among their | ||
| favorite pastimes; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Hunter have enjoyed five decades of | ||
| abiding love and affection for each other, and they are among an | ||
| exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting | ||
| commitment; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Skip and Paulette Hunter on their | ||
| 50th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for | ||
| continued happiness; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
