R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Kim Flenniken is being recognized with the
Professional Award by the YWCA of Lubbock at its annual Women of
Excellence awards ceremony on March 9, 2017; and
WHEREAS, Created in 1989, the Women of Excellence awards
honor individuals for their contributions as leaders and
volunteers, highlighting the vital roles that women play in civic
and professional endeavors in the Lubbock area; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Flenniken is a Realtor for McDougal Realtors in
Lubbock, where she has forged strong relationships with her clients
and built a base consisting primarily of referrals and returning
customers; after more than 20 years in the real estate industry, she
is able to offer her clients the great benefits of her broad
knowledge and experience; and
WHEREAS, With her receipt of a Women of Excellence award, Kim
Flenniken joins an elite group of women who have been honored by the
YWCA of Lubbock, and she is indeed a worthy role model for this and
future generations; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Kim Flenniken on receiving a 2017
Women of Excellence award and extend to her sincere best wishes for
continued success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Flenniken as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
