| WHEREAS, Kim Flenniken is being recognized with the | ||
| Professional Award by the YWCA of Lubbock at its annual Women of | ||
| Excellence awards ceremony on March 9, 2017; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Created in 1989, the Women of Excellence awards | ||
| honor individuals for their contributions as leaders and | ||
| volunteers, highlighting the vital roles that women play in civic | ||
| and professional endeavors in the Lubbock area; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Ms. Flenniken is a Realtor for McDougal Realtors in | ||
| Lubbock, where she has forged strong relationships with her clients | ||
| and built a base consisting primarily of referrals and returning | ||
| customers; after more than 20 years in the real estate industry, she | ||
| is able to offer her clients the great benefits of her broad | ||
| knowledge and experience; and | ||
| WHEREAS, With her receipt of a Women of Excellence award, Kim | ||
| Flenniken joins an elite group of women who have been honored by the | ||
| YWCA of Lubbock, and she is indeed a worthy role model for this and | ||
| future generations; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Kim Flenniken on receiving a 2017 | ||
| Women of Excellence award and extend to her sincere best wishes for | ||
| continued success; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Ms. Flenniken as an expression of high regard by the | ||
| Texas House of Representatives. | ||
