| WHEREAS, School boards play a crucial role in meeting the | ||
| diverse educational needs of the children in their districts, and | ||
| Paul Rodarmer is indeed deserving of recognition for his service as | ||
| vice president of the Tioga Independent School District; and | ||
| WHEREAS, The mission of public schools throughout the state | ||
| and nation is to empower children to become productive contributors | ||
| to society in an ever-changing world; to that end, Mr. Rodarmer | ||
| works closely with other school board members, as well as with | ||
| parents, teachers, and community leaders, to set policies that | ||
| promote a learning environment in which all students have a chance | ||
| to thrive; and | ||
| WHEREAS, This notable Texan has demonstrated a truly | ||
| exemplary commitment to area students and brings a set of skills and | ||
| a range of experience that contribute immeasurably to the | ||
| successful operation of Tioga ISD; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 85th Texas | ||
| Legislature, 1st Called Session, hereby commend Paul Rodarmer for | ||
| his service as a member of the Tioga Independent School District | ||
| Board of Trustees and extend to him sincere appreciation for his | ||
| outstanding service to the community; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Mr. Rodarmer as an expression of high regard by the | ||
| Texas House of Representatives. | ||
