	R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Loved ones of Willie D. Barnett of San Antonio were
	deeply saddened by his passing on February 4, 2011, at the age of
	98; and
	WHEREAS, A native of the Lone Star State, Mr. Barnett was born
	in Lockhart on March 24, 1912; he shared many years with his wife,
	Augurene, and was a devoted father to his children, Willie, Vernon,
	Reginald, and Jacqueline; he was also briefly married to Alice
	Littlejohn Barnett; and
	WHEREAS, Active in his community of faith, Mr. Barnett was a
	deacon and a faithful member of Childress Memorial Church of God in
	Christ; and
	WHEREAS, Willie Barnett lived a full and generous life, and
	he will always be remembered with great admiration and affection;
	now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
	Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Willie D. Barnett
	and extend deepest sympathy to the members of his family: to his
	sons, Willie M. Barnett and Vernon O. Barnett; to his daughter,
	Jacqueline Barnett-Kirk, and her husband, Wallace; to his
	grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and to his other relatives
	and friends; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
	prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
	Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Willie D.
	Barnett.
