| WHEREAS, Allie Estelle White, the beloved daughter of Chris | ||
| and Jamie White, passed away on September 29, 2019; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Born on December 8, 2016, Allie was a source of | ||
| abundant joy to her family, which included her siblings, Madison, | ||
| Tyler, and Brady; though small, this vivacious little girl had a | ||
| personality that was larger than life, and she instantly endeared | ||
| herself to everyone she encountered; she was sweet natured, kind, | ||
| and gracious, and she was always at her happiest when she was | ||
| spending time with her family; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Allie could often be found outside, playing in the | ||
| sand and dirt, collecting rocks, and kicking around the soccer ball | ||
| with her father and brothers; naturally athletic and drawn to | ||
| gymnastics, she was also fond of princesses, particularly Moana and | ||
| Rapunzel, and she enjoyed playing with dolls alongside her older | ||
| sister, with whom she shared an especially close bond; and | ||
| WHEREAS, The tragic circumstances of Allie's passing have led | ||
| her family to establish a nonprofit organization called Allie's | ||
| Way; the organization is dedicated to protecting children from | ||
| distracted drivers by raising awareness, advocating for hands-free | ||
| laws, and promoting safety measures such as speed bumps, | ||
| particularly in parks and other recreation areas that are | ||
| frequented by children; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Although Allie White's time on this earth was far | ||
| too brief, the memory of this precious little girl will continue to | ||
| live on in the hearts of the many people who loved and cherished | ||
| her; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 87th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Allie Estelle White | ||
| and extend profound condolences to the members of her family: to her | ||
| parents, Chris and Jamie White; to her sister, Madison Alise White; | ||
| to her brothers, Tyler Preston White and Brady Christopher White; | ||
| to her grandparents, Lisa Jones, Jim and Sally Petermann, and | ||
| Richard and Marcy White; to her great-grandparents, Estelle | ||
| Petermann and Arlen and Mary Jones; to her aunts and uncles, Cheri | ||
| and David Armstrong, Wendy and Jeff Barley, and Brent and Alison | ||
| White; to her great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins; and to all | ||
| who mourn her passing; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of | ||
| Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Allie | ||
| Estelle White. | ||
