	H.R. No. 408



	R E S O L U T I O N

	WHEREAS, Ed and Marabeth Russell of Winnsboro celebrated
	their 60th wedding anniversary on September 3, 2014, and they may
	indeed reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have
	shared; and
	WHEREAS, On that memorable day in 1954, Mr. and Mrs. Russell
	exchanged the vows of matrimony in Terrell, and over the course of
	their marriage, they have found in each other a loving life partner;
	through the years, they have made dear friends and countless fond
	memories living in different cities in Texas and Virginia, and they
	presently call Winnsboro their home; and
	WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Russell count among their blessings a
	fine family that includes their children, Deborah Miller and her
	husband, Bill, Ed Russell and his wife, Lori, John Russell, and
	Carrie Russell, as well as their grandchildren, Leanne Marshall and
	her husband, Dave, and Jake, Garnett, and Molly Russell, with whom
	they treasure spending many special occasions; and
	WHEREAS, For six decades, Ed and Marabeth Russell have
	brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it
	is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now,
	therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
	Legislature hereby congratulate Ed and Marabeth Russell on their
	60th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
	continued happiness; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
	prepared for the Russells as an expression of high regard by the
	Texas House of Representatives.
