	H.R. No. 402



	R E S O L U T I O N
	WHEREAS, Members of the Texas Community Association
	Advocates are gathering at the State Capitol on February 12, 2013;
	and
	WHEREAS, TCAA provides a united voice for community
	association homeowners and volunteer board members; in addition to
	representing the interests of its membership in legislative and
	regulatory matters, the group provides education on best practices
	in an effort to develop well-governed, well-managed community
	associations; and
	WHEREAS, Today, more than 25,000 of these worthwhile groups
	operate within the Lone Star State, employing thousands of Texans
	while working to benefit the many residents they serve; and
	WHEREAS, The men and women of TCAA work diligently to
	represent, promote, and unify the community associations of Texas,
	and their ongoing efforts are truly worthy of recognition; now,
	therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 83rd Texas
	Legislature hereby recognize February 12, 2013, as Texas Community
	Association Advocates Day at the State Capitol and extend to the
	visiting members sincere best wishes for a memorable event; and, be
	it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
	prepared for the organization as an expression of high regard by the
	Texas House of Representatives.
