| WHEREAS, The service of an admired Upton County official drew | ||
| to a close when Sharon Harper retired as county treasurer on | ||
| December 31, 2020; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Over the course of her tenure, Ms. Harper served her | ||
| fellow citizens with distinction, ably meeting the myriad | ||
| responsibilities of her office; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Through her dedication and commitment to good | ||
| governance, Sharon Harper has helped make Upton County an even | ||
| better place in which to live and work, and she has set a standard of | ||
| excellence to which others may aspire; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby commend Sharon Harper for her service as Upton | ||
| County treasurer and extend to her sincere best wishes for the | ||
| future; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Ms. Harper as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
