H.R. No. 397

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, The service of an admired Real County official drew
to a close when Manuel Rubio retired as county commissioner on
December 30, 2020; and
WHEREAS, First taking office on December 29, 2004, Mr. Rubio
served his fellow citizens with distinction throughout his notable
16-year tenure; and
WHEREAS, Through his dedicated leadership and commitment to
good governance, Manuel Rubio has helped make Real County an even
better place in which to live and work, and he has set a standard of
excellence to which others may aspire; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Manuel Rubio for his service as a Real
County commissioner and extend to him sincere best wishes for the
future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Rubio as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
