| WHEREAS, The service of an admired Real County official drew | ||
| to a close when Mairi Gray retired as county treasurer on December | ||
| 31, 2022; and | ||
| WHEREAS, First taking office on November 29, 2011, Ms. Gray | ||
| served her fellow citizens with distinction throughout her notable | ||
| 11-year tenure; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Through her dedicated leadership and commitment to | ||
| good governance, Mairi Gray has helped make Real County an even | ||
| better place in which to live and work, and she has set a standard of | ||
| excellence to which others may aspire; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby commend Mairi Gray for her service as Real | ||
| County treasurer and extend to her sincere best wishes for the | ||
| future; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Ms. Gray as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
