| WHEREAS, Waco High School educator Ramiro Salazar has been | ||
| named the 2014 Region 3 Assistant Coach of the Year by the Texas | ||
| Association of Soccer Coaches; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Coach Salazar has distinguished himself through his | ||
| contributions to the Waco High soccer program, in which his | ||
| responsibilities include overseeing the Lions junior varsity | ||
| squad; a respected member of the school faculty, he also serves as | ||
| an assistant coach for the football team and teaches Spanish; and | ||
| WHEREAS, In claiming this prestigious honor, Coach Salazar | ||
| has become the first individual in school history to be recognized | ||
| by TASCO as the region's most outstanding assistant coach; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Ramiro Salazar's leadership and commitment to | ||
| excellence have resulted in an admirable record of achievement at | ||
| Waco High School, and his inspired guidance has helped his young | ||
| athletes to realize their full potential; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Ramiro Salazar on his selection as | ||
| the 2014 TASCO Region 3 Assistant Coach of the Year and extend to | ||
| him sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Coach Salazar as an expression of high regard by the | ||
| Texas House of Representatives. | ||
