| WHEREAS, The service of an admired Medina County elected | ||
| official drew to a close when Jerry Beck retired as county | ||
| commissioner; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Over the course of his tenure, Mr. Beck served his | ||
| fellow citizens with distinction, ably meeting the myriad | ||
| responsibilities of his office; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Through his dedicated leadership and commitment to | ||
| good governance, Jerry Beck has helped make Medina County an even | ||
| better place in which to live and work, and he has set a standard of | ||
| excellence to which others may aspire; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby commend Jerry Beck for his service as a Medina | ||
| County commissioner and extend to him sincere best wishes for the | ||
| future; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Mr. Beck as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
