	H.R. No. 37



	R E S O L U T I O N

	WHEREAS, The Honorable Teana Watson has been elected judge of
	Fort Bend County Court at Law No. 5, and she is indeed deserving of
	special recognition; and
	WHEREAS, In fulfilling the duties of her office, Judge Watson
	draws on a wealth of valuable experience; she is in private practice
	at her law firm, T. V. Watson Law in Stafford, and she has served as
	the city's associate municipal court judge and as a Fort Bend County
	assistant district attorney; and
	WHEREAS, A native of Houston, Ms. Watson graduated from Fisk
	University, and she went on to receive her juris doctor from
	Syracuse University; and
	WHEREAS, Each day, public servants improve the quality of
	life for their fellow citizens in innumerable ways, and the efforts
	of Teana Watson will help to make Fort Bend County an even better
	place in which to live and work; now, therefore, be it
	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 86th Texas
	Legislature hereby congratulate Teana Watson on her election as
	judge of Fort Bend County Court at Law No. 5 and extend to her
	sincere best wishes for a successful tenure; and, be it further
	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
	prepared for Judge Watson as an expression of high regard by the
	Texas House of Representatives.
