| WHEREAS, Joshua Landa, a junior at Foy H. Moody High School in | ||
| Corpus Christi, has been named to the 2015 Texas Music Educators | ||
| Association All-State Men's Choir; and | ||
| WHEREAS, The son of proud parents Juan and Anna Landa, | ||
| Mr. Landa earned this prestigious honor with outstanding auditions | ||
| at the district, region, and area levels; with his selection, he | ||
| will have the opportunity to perform in concert at the annual TMEA | ||
| Clinic and Convention in San Antonio on February 14, 2015; and | ||
| WHEREAS, The hard work and ability of this talented young | ||
| Texan have placed him among the state's elite high school | ||
| vocalists, and he may indeed reflect with pride on his remarkable | ||
| accomplishment; now, therefore, be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate Joshua Landa on his selection to | ||
| the 2015 TMEA All-State Men's Choir and extend to him sincere best | ||
| wishes for continued success; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for Mr. Landa as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
