| WHEREAS, The boys' wrestling team of Amarillo High School | ||
| achieved great distinction with its performance at the 2015 | ||
| University Interscholastic League Wrestling State Tournament; and | ||
| WHEREAS, Joining the top high school competitors in Texas at | ||
| the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland on February 20 and 21, the | ||
| Sandies compiled a total of 57 points in their matches to finish in | ||
| fourth place among the Class 6A teams; and | ||
| WHEREAS, By excelling in the state's premier showcase for | ||
| high school wrestlers, these dedicated athletes ably represented | ||
| their school and community, and they will cherish their memories of | ||
| this outstanding accomplishment for years to come; now, therefore, | ||
| be it | ||
| RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas | ||
| Legislature hereby congratulate the members of the boys' wrestling | ||
| team of Amarillo High School on their fourth-place finish in Class | ||
| 6A at the 2015 UIL Wrestling State Tournament and extend to them | ||
| sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further | ||
| RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be | ||
| prepared for the team as an expression of high regard by the Texas | ||
| House of Representatives. | ||
